Sidika Owen d’Hauteville set up Studio Sidika in 2015, driven by a passion for creating thoughtful, refined interiors that balance creativity, functionality, and a strong sense of place.

After graduating from the Chelsea School of Art and Design, Sidika established Studio Sidika in West London, where she leads a dedicated studio team of architectural designers. Her work is characterised by a highly personalised approach, combining architectural sensitivity with a carefully curated mix of furniture, soft furnishings contemporary art, antiques, and bespoke pieces—including her own original artworks.

Her culturally diverse background - half Turkish and half British, born in Brazil and raised in South of France - has shaped a naturally international design perspective and an intuitive understanding of how clients from different cultures live and evolve within their homes. Fluent in five languages (English, French, Italian, German, and Turkish), she works seamlessly with an international clientele.

Before founding Studio Sidika, Sidika spent fifteen years in investment banking within the luxury goods sector. This experience now underpins her studio’s rigorous approach to project management, budgeting, and financial planning, offering clients creativity delivered with clarity, structure, and reliability.

Sidika is a BIID Registered Interior Designer®, as awarded by the British Institute of Interior Designers (BIID). She has holds a Bachelor of Sciences with Honours from the London School of Economics.

Founder and Principal Designer

01 — We begin with the architecture
We look at proportion, light, materials and context before considering decoration.

02 — We design with restraint
We favour a considered palette of natural materials, beautiful craftsmanship and details that reveal themselves over time.

03 — We make it personal
Art, antiques, objects and bespoke elements are selected around the people who live in the home, rather than applied as a predetermined aesthetic.

04 — We manage with precision
Our creative process is supported by rigorous budgeting, planning and project coordination, ensuring that the detail and ambition of the design are carried through to completion.

The result is interiors that are sophisticated, thoughtful and understated — designed not simply to look beautiful, but to enrich the way you live.

We would love to hear about your project.

Our Approach

I believe that there is a very peculiar alchemy in combining art, craft, colour, pattern and texture; it is the careful layering that makes a house someone’s home.

Sidika

‘‘At first, we were not sure of our style and we had to feel our way. Now I look around and I see that we have created a practical family home that’s infused with warmth. There’s nothing better than sitting in front of the fireplace on a winter’s night, or eating with friends around the dining table. Our home finally tells our story.’’
