LITTLE VENICE
NEW BUILD TOWNHOUSE W9

STUDIO SIDIKA undertook the complete interior architecture and design of this 150-sqm 1970s townhouse in Little Venice, reconfiguring a dated interior to suit the needs of a young family and their love of entertaining.

The new scheme draws on the house’s 1970s origins and the clients’ colourful Mexican heritage, combining a relaxed, bohemian sensibility with a more refined contemporary approach. Original finger parquet flooring was carefully restored and became a starting point for a layered mix of colour, natural materials and vintage furniture.

The house was entirely remodelled to create a generous principal suite, home office, two further ensuite bedrooms and, on the ground floor, a galley kitchen opening onto interconnected dining and living spaces.

The result is a warm, characterful family home that celebrates the spirit of its original architecture while giving it a distinctly personal identity.
